Dundalk Railway Heritage Society

Dundalk Railway Heritage Society is a volunteer body which brings together former railway staff and enthusiasts to exchange views,ideas and memories and to direct historical railway artifacts to heritage,when no longer in use.
DRHS is funded by the International Fund for Ireland under the Integrating Communities Programme.
Dundalk station opened it's doors on 15 February 1849 as Dundalk Junction, so called as it was located at the Junction of the Dublin-Belfast line and the Dundalk and Enniskillen line. It was not known as Dundalk Station until June 1894. more
